An August Wedding at the Top of Killington
One of the most spectacular sites in all of Vermont is the view from the top of Killington. You can literally see for miles and miles. It's breathtaking! It's the perfect place to get married... if the weather cooperates. Which reminds me of a blog post we did not too long ago on having a good rain plan. This day in August had many weather ups and downs but in the end it all worked out.
Crystal and Phil were married on Killington, the place where it all started for them. Their families and friends all came in from all over but mainly the NJ area. They were even so close with their photographer that they brought him up from Jersey too. Crystal's family made us all feel like we were part of their family from the beginning... and that's a great feeling! They were all so warm and inviting. There were so many special touches and places of honor for family members. Crystal's sisters, Brittany and Victoria, were her maids of honor and her aunt, Michelle, was their officiant. There was a beautiful remembrance table too of all those who could not be with us. Crystal thought of everything. While Crystal thought of everything, Phil was right there supporting her and helping out. He even made the display the escort cards were held on. Crystal and Phil also had a popcorn bar which was a huge hit with guests. And something new for me... we had the Waffle Cabin serving up hot chocolate dipped waffles just like they do on the mountain. Their love for family and friends really came through with each little detail. I can't wait for all of the professional images to come through so I can share the details.
I loved being their Vermont Wedding Planner and working along side these fantastic vendors...
